The Excubitorium, the only barracks of the firemen of ancient Rome that is still accessible today. The site was discovered 8 meters underground of the popular district of Trastevere. It is composed by a courtyard decorated with an exagonal fountains, rest of a mosaics and a niche with graffiti drawn by roman soldiers. Other rooms keeps floors in clay and a waterproofed plaster, doors and walls. The complex is dated back at II century a.D.
