The subterranean area of the basilica of Santa Cecilia in the popular area of Trastevere, has the archaeological evidence of five centuries of history. Are visible ruins of several architectonical complex, starting from the courtyard of a Roman Domus, that still mantains his courtyard with mosaics ans column. At the same time are still visible old structure of an early insula - a Roman condominium - with wells used for grapes or leather.
