Superbly
positioned within a beautiful environmental setting of Northern area of Lazio,
in the heart of Tuscia area, this castle was built in the Middle Ages to control
the ancient Roman bridge on the Fiora, not far from the sea and the Via Aurelia.
It was owned by the Benedictine order and the Templars, was then modified
by the Farnese family in 1540, and it finally passed to the Torlonia family
in early 19 century.
