In 20th years, from 1922 to 1943, many areas of Rome were completelly renoveted with new buildings, roads and district. Famous architect like Piacentini, Libera, Pagano, Del Debbio, Moretti and artists like Rosso, Sironi, Canevari, Severini and others where employed in a monumental trasformation of the city. The Foro Italico, a sporting complex with extraordinary masterpiece of modern architecture; the EUR district, built for the World Exibithion in Rome of 1943 with his monumental palaces all made in ravertine; the Casa della Gioventù Italiana del Littorio, one of the most important european architecture on the 30th; the elegant Post Office of Ostiense.
