The skeleton crypt

In the subterranean crypt of some churches of Rome is possible to enter in a macabre and fashinating unusual world. Religious order of Cappiccini and the Brotherhood of Orazione e Morte since 1500 were buried thousands of monks using skulls, bones, skeletons to decorate walls, corridors, ceilings, chapel, shelfs etc.. The tour will start from the crypt under yhe Cappuccini church via via Veneto, probably the most famous of Italy. The route will continue in the subterranean crypt of St. Msris church also called dell'Orazione e Morte in via Giulia, where we will visit the underground with several hundreds skulls with names, surnames, date of death and cause of the death. A fashinating world to be discovered.
