Early Christian Age

In the subterraneans of many churches of Rome is possible to visit the early age of Christianity. In the underground of St. Crysogono church in the popular district of Trastevere we will visit one of the oldest open church of Rome, found in II cen. a. D. and just been restored and open to visitors; in the underground of St. Cecilia basilica we will discover the place of the martyrdom by decapitation of the saint; in St. Lorenzo in Lucina we will see one of the oldest baptistry of Rome and the nave of the 5th century church. In St. Clemente excavation we will enter in the 5th century church, built on the second floor of a Roma warehouse.
