Discover the spectacular paintings and architecture of the 16th cen. in Rome. Optical illusion, trompe l'oeil and perspective gallery made to surprise. This tour will start from the celebrated masterpiece of Borromini, the gallery in palazzo Spada. The itinerary will continue in the Casa Professa del Gesù where we will admire the optical illusion painted by father Andrea Pozzo in the corridor of the rooms of the founder of the Gesuit, St. Ignatius of Loyola. Five minutes walk and we will enter in St. Ifgnatius church where we will be shocked by the incredible ceiling and the painted dome created by Pozzo in the last years of 16th cen. We will observe the oval frame of the buildings in the square and the spectacular sacristy of the maddalena church near Pantehon.
