The Imperial Roman Residence

Let's go discovering together some of the Roman Imperial Residence. The tour will start from the Palatine hill, house of all the Emperors where we will visit the famous Royal Palace built starting from 60 a.D. with the Flavian Palace, the Nero's Crypt, the Augustana's Wing, the Stadium. We will continue visiting the magnifent Villa of Livia at Primaporta, third wife of Ottaviano Augusto, first Emperor of Rome where are still visible many rooms with mosaics and an underground nimpheum. The splendour of the Villa dei Quintili, confiscated by Emperor Commodo in late 2nd cen. a.D. with his open air pavillion and Bath. The enormous complex of Massentius, built in late 3rd - beginning of 4th cen. a.D. longside the Appian Way with his famous hippodrome stadium for charriot private races.
