Palazzo Barberini

Palazzo Barberini, one of the most beautiful Roman palazzi of the Seventeenth century, it was started by Carlo Maderno and completed by Bernini and Francesco Barberini for Pope Urban VIII. The fresco of the Trionfo della Divina Provvidenza, Pietro da Cortona's great masterpiece, is particularly magnificent. The facade is been inspirated by the classical Colosseo.
