Palazzo Brancaccio

The last great aristocratic palazzo of Rome, built on the ruins of the villa of Mecenate on the Colle Oppio Hill, few meters away from Santa Maria Maggiore basilica. Behind the severe façade there are luxurious salons with fine decorations, a gallery of mirrors and, the great ball room decorated with amazing stucco works and in the garden, an elegant coffeehouse.
