<  Casino Massimo Lancellotti

One of the most beautiful Roman villas, which was also admired by Goethe, was built uin 17th century for the rich and noble roman family Ludovisi. The villa was originally surrounded by gardens, destroyed from 1880 year for the new development area of via Veneto district. It houses Guercino's fresco of the Carro dell’Aurora and Gli Elementi e l’Universo with the signs of the zodiac painted by Caravaggio.
