<  Villa Torlonia

The villa was built by the Torlonia princes during the early 19th century longside the Nomentana road. Several architect contribuited during 100 years to built pavillions, theatres, mock ruins, fountains, stables and the celebrated Casina delle Civette (House of the Owls) with its liberty style windows. Just restored after years of works, is also visible now the Prince Casino, a unique neo-renaissance house with many walls decorated with neoclassical frescoes and original roman sculpture.
