This
Casino, originally a part of a bigger historical garden, is located 2 minutes
walking from St. John in Lateran, the Cathedral of Rome. The villa was realized
in early 17th century for the Giustiniani family that owned the villa till
passed away to Lancellotti and after to the Massimo family. The severe late-mannerist
façade is decorated with classical roman marble reliefs. The ground
floor keeps intact the attractive rooms frescoed by the Nazarenes
with historical subjects between 1817 and 1829.
